Animal Hop

Set to ‘50s R& R rhythm, this adorable little song will get kids rockin’ right along. “The zookeeper’s gone, all the doors were locked, and that’s the time when the animals rock.” Some of the lines are sure to produce giggles, and boppin’ to this tune is a super way to get rid of the wiggles. Kids sharpen rhyme, rhythm, and imagination.

Lyrics:
Animal Hop Well, late last night at the local zoo, After the midnight crew was through, The zookeeper’s gone, all the doors were locked, and That’s the time when the animals rock. Let’s rock. Come on Hippo, baby, let’s rock, rock, rock, rock. Nobody wants to stop at the Animal Hop. The rhino was swingin’ with the chimpanzee. The hound dog was scratchin’ with a couple of the fleas. The monkey was dancin’ with the kangaroo, and Every cage was jumpin’ at the local zoo. Let’s hop. Come on Mr. Turtle, let’s rock. Come on, rock. Nobody wants to stop at the Animal Hop. The elephants were stompin’ the floor to bits. The camels and giraffes, they were doin’ the splits. The orangutans were poundin’ on the pots and pans. The lions and the tigers, they were makin’ plans. Let’s hop. Come on Miss Flamingo, let’s hop. Come on, rock. Nobody wanted to stop at the Animal Hop. The porcupine and the jack-a-lope, They fell in love and they wanna elope. The penguin said, “Hey, I’ll read the vows, But first let’s party with a couple of the cows.” Let’s rock. Come on little chicky, let’s rock. Come on, rock. Nobody wanted to stop at the Animal Hop. Well, later on about 5 A.M., all the animals want to do it all again. So next time you go to your local zoo, You’ll know why all the animals are sleepin’ at the zoo. They’re tired, they’re tired, and they’re pooped, pooped, pooped. Nobody wanted to stop at the Animal Hop. Let’s rock. Come on everybody, let’s rock, rock, rock, rock. Nobody wants to stop at the Animal Hop. Music By: Glenn Bulthuis Performed By: Glenn Bulthuis
