I'm Flying

Every child can relate to pedaling so fast it feels like you can take off into the wind! This catchy tune captures that energy! With cards in the spokes “… my bike sounds like a motorcycle going 102. And no one’s gonna catch me, no matter what they do. Because I’m flyin’. I’m really flyin’.” Rhyme, rhythm, and imagination skills all gain speed!

Lyrics:
I’m Flying Well, I’ve got some old baseball cards, and I got some rubber bands, And I got my mother’s clothespins, and I’ve got my two hands. Well, I took those old baseball cards, and I stuck them in my spokes. I hopped up on my bike and turned my wheels and Headed to see the folks. And my bike sounds like a motorcycle going 102. And no one’s gonna catch me, no matter what they do. Because I’m flyin’. I’m really flyin’. And no one’s ever gone as fast as me before. I’m soarin’ and I’m explorin’ the minute that I head out of the door. Well I pedaled over hill and dale and fields of golden flowers, Past trees and fleas and bumblebees, it seemed like twenty hours. I pedaled hard goin’ up and coasted goin’ down Past houses, farms, and rivers, and even little towns. And I can hear the sound of music flowin’ through my hair, The sweet smell of jasmines blowin’ in the air. Because I’m flyin’. I’m really flyin’, And no one’s ever gone as fast as me before. I’m soarin’ and I’m explorin’ the minute I head out of the door. Just about five o’clock, I start to look around, And I see the lazy sun slowly sinkin’ down. So I turned around and headed home and pedaled extra fast, And my baseball card motor roared as I stepped on the gas. And I feel a little sad my ride is coming to an end, But come tomorrow morning, we’ll do it all again. Because I’m flyin’. I’m really flyin’, And no one’s ever gone as fast as me before. I’m soarin’ and I’m explorin’ the minute that I head out of the door. Because I’m flyin’. I’m really flyin’, And no one’s ever gone as fast as me before. I’m soarin’ and I’m explorin’ the minute that I head out of the door. Music By: Glenn Bulthuis Performed By: Glenn Bulthuis
